1. What Sniparium is

Sniparium is a personal code snippet bank, available on the web and as a VS Code extension, maintained by ibiulabs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Access to Sniparium is exclusively through a GitHub account. You need an active, valid GitHub account to authenticate and use the service's features.

3. Acceptable use

By using Sniparium, you agree not to:

  • Store passwords, API keys, tokens, or other sensitive credentials inside your snippets;
  • Store third parties' personal data without proper consent;
  • Publish illegal or malicious content (such as malware or exploits intended to cause harm), or content that violates third-party rights;
  • Use the service to attempt to compromise the security of the platform or of other users.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Ownership of snippets

The code snippets you create belong to you. Sniparium does not claim ownership over the content you store; we act only as a storage and organization tool. Snippets marked as public become accessible via a shareable link, but remain your authorship and responsibility.

5. Service availability

Sniparium is a project maintained by volunteers, and we do not guarantee continuous availability ("uptime") or freedom from errors. We may perform maintenance, change, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice whenever possible.

6. Limitation of liability

Sniparium is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ibiulabs is not liable for data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. We recommend keeping backup copies of your most important snippets.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. When changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through a visible notice on the site. Continued use of Sniparium after an update implies agreement with the new terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018 — LGPD). The venue of the user's domicile is elected to resolve any disputes, except where otherwise required by law.
